That means it’s not just an even stronger version of the standard Transit van, but also the ideal basis for a bespoke conversion to support specialist customers such as the emergency services or construction and transport industries.

The 5T GVM (payload of up to 2410kg in the van*) is offered in two body styles, two cab sizes, three wheelbases and four overall lengths. Customers can work with converters from our network of over 160 Qualified Vehicle Modifiers in 13 countries to design and build anything from simple shelving inside their van to a complete luxury bus conversion.

Refined Interior

The Transit Custom Limited cabin is refined and well-equipped with air conditioning, heated front seats and a Ford SYNC 3 audio system with 8” touchscreen. The dual front passenger seat comes with easy-access under-seat stowage that’s big enough to store a laptop and other useful accessories. And there’s a host of driver assistance technologies available including Blind Spot Information System and Lane Keeping Alert to help increase awareness (optional extras).

Managing the loadspace

There’s no compromise in the most vital consideration for your work, maximising your loadspace and the ease with which you can use it. With low load heights, a pallet-sized sliding door on both the driver (option) and passenger side or double cab-in van bodystyles for carrying crew.

otherwise. Higher specification models will have greater Kerb Masses and therefore lower payloads due to increased standard equipment
